Commercial PSP Filters feature “Spun-Wound Fiberglass" construction that offers exceptional durability and are best suited for commercial applications.
Commercial PSP Filters feature enlarged filter lateral openings which increase filter media bed circulation and allow for the use
of a larger filter media; large filter media is more suitable for heavy solid waste applications. This combination of specialized
filter laterals and our 4-8 mm FilterClay media provides better solid waste capture and more effective backwashing when compared
to fine sand. Commercial PSPs are available in either top-mount or side-mount valve styles and in eight sizes with a maximum
flow rate of 240 GPM.
Optional Automatic Backwash
Combine our E-6000F Series Automatic Back-wash System with our PSP Filters for total automatic operation. E-6000F Series
Automatic Backwash Valves are timer or pressure (adjustable) controlled systems that combine both the valve actuator and the
controller inside one enclosure. An integrated touch pad switch allows the operator to initiate standard operating commands that
include backwash/rinse and drain or pump shut off. E-6000F valves are equipped with adjustable potentiometers to set backwash and
rinse durations: backwash 1-11 min. and rinse 20 sec. to 4 min.
The SSM-EA-50 pump controller with a 50 amp capacity is required to operate the E-6000F Series valve. The valve’s internal pump
relay is wired to the SSM-EA-50 Pump Controller that controls the on/off sequence of the pump during the valve’s backwash and
rinse cycles.
