pre-filter to your pump and
existing system, but it can also be used as the “total pond filter” in small applications. The Tadpole Pre-Filter
is completely submersible and easily cleaned
for re-use.
For Best Results:
Use any of the popular “threaded port” submersible pumps available. Increase the pump size by 50% and apply
a three-way valve, creating a “circulation by-pass.” This will increase water circulation inside the pond, suspend
the solid waste and help it to efficiently reach the Tadpole Filter.

UV System! For effective small pond filtration, it’s hard to beat a
Tadpole Filter and SMART UV System! The SMART UV must be positioned after the Tadpole where it receives solids-free water.
This will provide maximum UV treatment, resulting in the optimal control of waterborne algae and harmful bacteria.
